A New Massacre… 142 Civilians Killed and Injured in RSF Attack on Village South of Omdurman

While the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) has taken control of the most of Omdurman, with the exception of parts of the west and south, a village south of the city witnessed an attack by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.

Al Arabiya/Al Hadath sources reported on Sunday that 106 civilians were killed in a militia attack on the village of Eid al-Had, south of Omdurman, after the militia renewed its attack on the so-called Jamo’iya villages south of Omdurman this morning.

A leading figure of Jamo’iya tribe, which inhabits the area, told Al Arabiya/Al Hadath that an RSF militia force consisting of 20 combat vehicles attacked the village of Eid al-Had, killing 106 residents and wounding 37 others.

He also explained that the residents of the area were forced to defend themselves and confront the militia before SAF intervened with drones and forced the attacking force to flee, as he described it.

For weeks, the militia’s control over Sudan’s states has been rapidly declining, with the army’s advance on the area.
