Sudanese Army Pounds RSF Gold Mines in Radom, Destroys Al-Junaid Company Headquarters
The Sudanese Army carried out a concentrated rocket strike targeting gold mines controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in Radom locality, South Darfur State. Four rockets struck the headquarters of Al-Junaid Company, which is owned by the militia, at the Agbash gold mine, destroying the facility and setting it ablaze. At least one person was killed, after which telecommunications and internet services were completely shut down in the area.
Local sources told Darfur24 that the airstrike, carried out on Sunday, directly targeted the militia’s economic infrastructure at the Aghbash mine, one of the largest gold-mining centers in South Darfur. RSF-linked investments operate at the site alongside the activities of thousands of traditional miners.
