Destruction of Hemedti’s Residence in Nyala
The Sudanese Armed Forces’ air force carried out a special, precision military operation in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur State, targeting residences and gatherings of senior Rapid Support Forces (RSF) leaders, based on precise intelligence.
Field sources, according to journalist Muzamil Abu Al-Qasim, who is close to the army leadership, said the concentrated airstrikes succeeded in destroying the residence of RSF commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known as “Hemedti,” in the city, as well as the homes of several senior military commanders in the group. The targeted residences included those of Major General (Rebel) Hassan Mahjoub, Major General (Rebel) Othman Operations, and Major General (Khala) Abdullah Goroosh.
Reports from the scene confirmed that the bombing of the RSF commander’s residence resulted in the death of one of his most prominent personal bodyguards and the group’s intelligence officer, First Lieutenant Mohamed Adam, known as “Tanks.” He is Hemedti’s nephew and is described as his “keeper of secrets.”
Meanwhile, intelligence and field authorities are conducting extensive inquiries to establish the fate of the other targeted commanders, foremost among them Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, Othman Operations, Hassan Mahjoub, and Abdullah Goroosh, who were present at the targeted locations shortly before the airstrikes.
