24 Killed in Al-Dagalo Drone Attack on Vehicle Carrying Displaced Civilians in Kordofan
The Sudan Doctors Network said that 24 people, including eight children and women, were killed on Saturday when a drone operated by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia targeted a vehicle carrying displaced civilians in the Dubaykir area of North Kordofan state.
In a statement, the network said the attack also left others wounded, who were evacuated to the city of Al-Rahad for treatment amid severe health and humanitarian conditions and an acute shortage of medical supplies.
The network called on the international community and human rights organizations to take urgent action to protect civilians and to hold the RSF leadership accountable for these violations. It stated that the deliberate targeting of unarmed civilians constitutes a fully-fledged war crime and held the RSF fully responsible for the massacre and its consequences.
