Al Burhan: “Either Us or This Militia—No Middle Ground”

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander in Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), General Abdel-Fattah Al Burhan, praised the significant and continuous support provided by the people of Al Getainah to the Armed Forces and their role in safeguarding the Sudanese state. He pointed to the symbolic importance of the area in training and preparing fighters.

Addressing residents of Al Getainah in the White Nile State after Friday prayer at the Grand Mosque, Al Burhan reaffirmed the determination of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the forces supporting them to eliminate the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia completely. He stressed that there is no turning back from this path until the militia is destroyed and every inch of the nation’s land is cleansed.

General Al Burhan pledged to continue the journey for which long columns of martyrs sacrificed their lives and earned the respect and gratitude of the Sudanese people. He added: “Either we cease to exist, or this militia does—there is no alternative.”
