El-Fashir Resistance Committees Call for Launch of a Civilian Air Bridge to Aid the City
The Coordination of the El-Fashir Resistance Committees announced its support for a proposal to launch a popular civilian air bridge to deliver humanitarian aid to the city.
In a statement posted on its Facebook page and reviewed by Sudanese Echoes, the Coordination said the city is facing catastrophic humanitarian conditions, with an urgent and growing need for food, medicine, and shelter supplies.
The statement praised the proposal to establish a civilian air bridge for rescue efforts, similar to the initiative launched in Northern State.
Northern State had recently launched the “Kailat Dates Initiative” to support El-Fashir as the date harvest season began in the state.
The Coordination called on all committees and voluntary organizations to rally behind this urgent humanitarian initiative and to work collectively to ensure its success on the ground.
