Sudan’s Police Deny Kidnapping and Organ Trafficking Claims in Red Sea State

The Red Sea State Police announced that 16-year-old student Hiba Mohamed Musa Baglad, who went missing two days ago after leaving her home for school in Port Sudan, has been found safe and returned to her family unharmed.

The police denied circulating rumors on social media alleging cases of kidnapping and organ trafficking, stressing that such claims are baseless and intended to undermine security and stability in the state. They confirmed that their records show no similar reports, except for two missing-person cases that were properly handled, emphasizing that Red Sea State remains secure and has not experienced any security breaches.

Hiba’s family, residing in the Al-Shatei neighborhood, expressed their gratitude to the police for their swift response and for resolving the circumstances surrounding their daughter’s disappearance, without providing further details about the incident.
