Promotions and Retirements in Senior Ranks of the Sudanese Police

 

The Police Forces leadership has retired three officers holding the rank of Lt. Gen.

 

(Police), while simultaneously promoting six officers from the rank of Maj. Gen. to Lt. Gen.

 

 

In a statement received by Sudanese Echoes, the official spokesperson for the Police Forces announced that six officers were promoted from Maj. Gen. to Lt. Gen. and subsequently retired.

 

He added that a number of officers at the rank of Maj. Gen. were also retired, while others were promoted from Brig. Gen. to Maj. Gen.

 

 

The statement further noted that some of those promoted from Brig. Gen. to Maj. Gen. were also retired.

 

 

The Ministry of Interior and the Police leadership affirmed their firm determination to uphold security and order throughout the country, impose the state prestige in accordance with the law, and continue to fulfill their national duties with impartiality and dedication.
