An airstrike destroys RSF militia’s central operations Chamber in Bara

The Sudanese Air Force launched a precision operation in the Kordofan axis, targeting rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia positions in the Bara area.

Fighter aircraft successfully destroyed two combat vehicles, as well as a Hiace vehicle carrying a number of rebel fighters, who were killed instantly.

The attack not only targeted the vehicles but also destroyed the home of a rebel commander, which was being used as a central operations room and shelter for dozens of fighters. This represents a severe blow to their operational network.

The armed forces viewed the operation as a confirmation of their readiness to carry out qualitative strikes capable of paralyzing the rebels’ movements and weakening their combat capabilities in the region. This opens the door to rearranging the balance of power on the ground in favor of the army.

These strikes came at a critical time, as the armed forces seek to intensify preemptive operations in Kordofan to secure strategic depth and prevent the militia from turning the area into a new launching pad. This places the Bara battle at the heart of the upcoming confrontation.
