RSF Militia Responds to El-Fashir Vanquishment by Shooting Civilians in Abu Shouk Camp

The terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia committed a horrific crime after suffering a major vanquishment in the battle of El-Fashir.
The rebel RSF militia stormed the Abu Shouk camp for displaced persons (IDPs) and carried out a mass execution of civilians, killing 40 civilians and wounding 19 others.
El-Fashir Resistance Committees revealed, in a statement, that the raid occurred following the militia’s defeat on the ground around El-Fashir, prompting them to head to the camp in an attempt to take revenge on unarmed civilians.
The statement reported that militia members opened indiscriminate and deliberate fire on the IDPs, targeting families in their homes.
The Resistance Committees indicated that the militia did not limit themselves to shooting but also set fire to some of the camp’s homes.
The statement confirmed that the victims included women and children, and that the casualties included critical cases, which could raise the death toll. It called for an urgent international investigation and for those responsible for this massacre to be held accountable.
