Al-Dagalo militia shoots two girls dead on charges of smuggling goods to El-Fashir
Two girls were killed by Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia gunfire in the Garni area of North Darfur, on charges of smuggling food supplies to El-Fashir, the capital of North Darfur.
Eyewitnesses told Darfur 24 that RSF militia elements opened fire on a number of women and girls riding animals near Garni village, killing two of them, who were accused of smuggling goods to El-Fashir.
The witnesses reported that one of the girls died instantly after being shot, while the second later died of her wounds at a health center in the village.
The witnesses added that the militia whipped the remaining women, injuring seven others, before confiscating their food supplies.
