(3) Militia RSF advance forces destroyed in the desert

The Joint Force of Armed Movements announced the destruction of 3 Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia advance forcess, including 162 combat vehicles.

 

While confirming that the militia is no longer able to confront the joint force, it pledged to pursue them in all alleys, deserts, cities and villages.

 

The official spokesman for the joint force, Lt. Col. Ahmed Hussein, said in a statement that the force carried out a surprise attack on the militia gatherings in the desert axis in the Drishiki area. He explained that the militia was trying to organize and assemble the rest of its forces to attack Al-Maliha, and to restore deployment on the border triangle with Libya and Chad.

 

Hussein confirmed that the forces were able to completely eliminate 3 advance forces and inflict heavy losses on them. He revealed that the enemy remnants fled south towards Mellit, leaving behind hundreds of bodies, and that more than 54 military vehicles were destroyed and 67 other vehicles were seized in excellent condition and equipped with various weapons.

 

According to Hussein, the forces inflicted a crushing defeat on the militia in Al-Halaf area in North Darfur, killing hundreds of mercenaries, destroying more than 46 military vehicles, and seizing 21 other vehicles in excellent condition.
