The joint force of the armed struggle movements arrested two sons of the city of El-Fashir who belong to Al-Dagalo militia in the desert axis, one of whom is related to the militia commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemeidti).

A senior source in the joint forces confirmed to (Sudanese Echoes) that their units concerned with monitoring the desert axis and the border triangle arrested yesterday Colonel Mansour Mohi al-Din Mansour Abu Safita, known as (Nimr), and his father is also a colonel and is responsible for the camels and livestock of the Al-Dagalo family. He is Hemeidti’s relative, and their family is well-known in the city of El-Fashir and is of Libyan origin.

The other, whose name is Youssef, belongs to the Shommo family known in the city of El-Fashir. He is the younger brother of the rebel Muhi al-Din, one of the militia’s field commanders.

The sources said that Colonel Mansour is the older brother of Hemeidti’s wife, who is currently the most senior logistical support official for the Janjaweed militias in Libya, and lives in the Al-Azma neighborhood in El-Fashir. He added that he had the rank of captain before the war was launched, but his cousin Hemeidti later promoted him by two ranks to colonel.
