TSC Member Kabashi: Army Will Completely Crush the Rebellion

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Deputy Commander-in-Chief General Shams-Eddin Kabashi said the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), together with supporting forces, are determined to end the rebellion and eliminate it entirely, stressing that military operations are advancing steadily toward victory.

Speaking during a visit to southern Khartoum, which included the neighbourhoods of Mandela, Angola, and Ghuboush in the Greater Al-Nasr area, General Kabashi said the government is pressing ahead with development projects, the provision of essential services, and efforts to rehabilitate and upgrade infrastructure, as well as to rebuild what was destroyed by the war.

TSC Member and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed was accompanied on the tour by Khartoum State Wali Ahmed Othman Hamza.

Kabashi paid tribute to the resilience of the Sudanese people and their endurance during the past period, saying: “By Allah’s grace, we are moving forward and will not stop until complete victory is achieved.”

He explained that the current conditions and the repercussions of the crisis in Khartoum necessitated measures to remove emergency housing, noting that informal settlements have become a security and social challenge due to accumulated economic pressures. He affirmed that the area will be properly planned, with guarantees to provide basic services to residents.

Kabashi added that the state is working to implement urgent remedies for all affected areas, in coordination with the Khartoum State Government, particularly in southern Khartoum neighbourhoods impacted by the removals. He also said the government will intensify efforts in the coming days to plan land allocations and resolve civil registry issues to facilitate the issuance of identification documents for citizens.
