The Joint Force Rejects Any Settlement Equating SAF with RSF Militia
The Joint Force on Wednesday rejected any settlements or solutions that would “establish a distorted reality equating the legitimate state with the outlawed militia,” following a session of the Sudanese National Security and Defense Council in Khartoum the day before.
In a press statement, the Joint Force reaffirmed its full and unwavering support for the will of the Sudanese people, who reject any settlements or solutions that would create a distorted reality equating the legitimate state with the outlawed militia.
The statement praised the clear national stance of the Sudanese government and the Armed Forces (SAF) leadership in upholding their legitimate rights to defend the homeland and confront the machinery of killing and destruction perpetrated by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia with openly declared foreign backing.
The Joint Force emphasized that this is a battle of dignity and survival, not a transient political conflict. It called on the Sudanese people in all states and in the diaspora to rally around the institutions of the legitimate state, support the army and the Joint Force at this critical stage, and use all possible means to back the nationwide mobilization efforts until complete victory is achieved.
It also stressed the importance of continuing humanitarian efforts to assist those affected by the war, exposing the grave violations including war crimes and acts of genocide committed by the militia, and fully cooperating with the International Criminal Court in its recent investigations.
The Joint Force reaffirmed its pledge to remain on the front line in defense of Sudan, its unity, and territorial integrity, continuing to fulfill its national and military duty until the militia is defeated and security and stability are restored across the country.
