The Sudanese Armed Forces fought fierce battles on the outskirts of Wad Madani, while the warplanes carried out precise strikes on the crowds of the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Militia in the western vicinity of Wad Madani in the areas of “Mahla and Beka”. The army had liberated the village of (Al-Shaygab), 18 kilometers from Madani last Thursday.
Sources told the (Sudanese Echoes) platform that what separates the army from Wad Madani are the villages of (Al-Talha, Mahla, Beka and Al-Karaiba). The sources expected that controlling these villages is a matter of time. The armed forces and the armed resistance – according to the sources – repelled violent assaults by the outlaw militia from three axes, which tried to retake the village of Al-Shaygab, adding that the battles and waves, that the armed forces repelled, lasted for more than three days and continued until Monday afternoon.
According to the sources, the insurgent RSF militia mobilized mercenaries, most of whom are from the state of South Sudan.
