Talks between Al-Burhan and Tamim held in Doha

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, held a bilateral talks with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha.

The meeting touched on the course of bilateral relations and ways to support joint cooperation between Sudan and Qatar.

TSC President briefed the Qatari Emir on the developments in Sudan, highlighting that the Sudanese and Qatari peoples share deeply rooted historical ties.

Emir Tamim affirmed Qatar’s support for Sudan, its unity, security, stability, and territorial integrity, stressing that his country seeks to achieve peace and stability in Sudan as soon as possible.
