Suddenly, Sudan withdraws its ambassador from Algeria

The Sudanese Foreign Ministry abruptly withdrew its ambassador to Algeria, Nadia Mohamed Khair Osman, and terminated her mission. She was asked to return immediately to the ministry’s headquarters in the administrative capital, Port Sudan.
Al-Sudani newspaper disclosed that another diplomat had been assigned to temporarily run the embassy.
The reasons behind the Foreign Ministry’s decision to withdraw its ambassador from Algeria and terminate her mission remain unclear.
