Sudan’s Public Prosecution (Hamdok) Wanted for Justice

 

The Sudanese Public Prosecution issued a clarification statement regarding what was reported by some media outlets and social media platforms that it had removed the name of the defendent, Abdullah Hamdok, the former Prime Minister, from the list of those wanted for justice.

 

The Public Prosecution confirmed that this information is baseless, and that the aforementioned is wanted for arrest in several criminal cases, and that it had previously issued a request to the International Police (Interpol) to publish a red notice to arrest the aforementioned.

 

The Public Prosecution confirmed that the legal procedures against the accused are still under consideration, and the prosecution threatened those who spread the rumor of dismissing the lawsuits against Hamdok with legal prosecution.
