Sudan’s Foreign Minister: The parallel government will not be recognized by anyone

Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Youssef announced on Sunday that his country rejects any country’s recognition of the parallel government.

The minister said, following his meeting with his Egyptian counterpart on Sunday in the new administrative capital, “The parallel government will not be recognized by anyone.”

He continued, “We are constantly consulting with Egypt due to the seriousness of the situation in Sudan and the region,” stressing the participation of President of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, in the upcoming Arab Summit in Egypt.
