A well-informed source denied all the efforts that were said and circulated about the details and terms of the Turkish initiative on the mediation between Sudan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) regime.

The well-informed source told (Sudanese Echoes) that what was leaked about the details of the mediation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was untrue, he said, “What is being circulated is nothing more than readings and efforts, stressing that what the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister carried during his meeting with President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, was not seen by TSC members until the moment of writing the news.

The source confirmed that the terms of the initiative are only known to President Al-Burhan, President Erdogan and his Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, referring to the statement of Foreign Minister Ali Youssef Al-Sharif himself, in the press statement after Al-Burhan’s meeting with the Turkish envoy Burhanettin Duran, who said that Al-Burhan requested that his welcome of the initiative be conveyed to President Erdogan and his Minister Hakan, considering that he is the one holding (its details).
