Sudanese Army Says “Large Number” of RSF Fighters Killed in Blue Nile Clashes

 

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced on Saturday that a “large number” of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) fighters were killed while repelling an attack on the Sali area in Blue Nile State, in the country’s southeast.

 

 

In a statement, the army said the 4th Infantry Division, backed by supporting forces, had successfully repelled the RSF assault. It added that 36 combat vehicles were destroyed and a significant number of mercenaries were killed.
