Sudanese Army Launches “The Flood” to Retake Strategic Areas in Kordofan

 

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have unleashed their troops to sweep militia positions in Kordofan.

 

 

The army’s “Flood” operation began with the recapture of Kazgail and Al-Riyash areas in North Kordofan.

 

 

Remaining militia elements in the region fled, leaving behind their wounded and dead.

 

 

In the same context, the army also regained control of Um Sayala area in North Kordofan.

 

 

The Armed Forces continue to pursue the remnants of the Janjaweed and advance along multiple axes.

 

 

Military sources reported widespread panic among Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militias, with a massive retreat from areas in western and northern Kordofan.
