Sudanese Army Downs Strategic Drone on Export Road Axis

The General Command of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced on Tuesday that its ground air defenses had shot down a strategic drone belonging to hostile forces along the Export Road axis.

In a statement issued by the SAF spokesperson’s office, the military said its air defense systems successfully detected and targeted the advanced FH-95 drone north of Al-Andraba, on the Export Road.

The downing of the drone, classified as a strategic unmanned aircraft used for surveillance and precision strikes, comes amid ongoing military operations and heightened aerial activity along key supply routes linking the capital with western Sudanese states.
