Sudan war outburst tensions between Chad and France

The French magazine “Jeune Afrique” revealed that Chad’s decision to cancel military cooperation with France stems from escalating tensions over the ongoing conflict in Sudan. While France, through its President Macron, and then repeated it through the French Foreign Minister during his last visit to Chad, demanded Chadian President Mahamat Deby to be neutral towards the crisis in Sudan for fear of Chad burning, Deby rejected the request, so President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mohammed bin Zayed, rewarded him with a two-billion-dollar loan.
Later, Deby ousted high-ranking figures in the defense and security services and dismissed twenty generals from service.
