Sudan rejects Chad’s denial of supporting outlaw RSF, demanding it to correct its behavior
The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected, yesterday, Saturday, the statements of the Chadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in which it disavowed support for the “Rapid Support Forces (RSF)”.
The ministry confirmed that “Chad’s support for the rebel RSF militia is documented by satellite images and reports of UN experts”, noting that “the Chadian regime’s continued support for the terrorist militia does not need further explanation, in light of the details and facts documented by satellite images, UN experts and investigative reports, to be involved in the aggression against Sudan”.
The Foreign Ministry rejected what its Chadian counterpart stated in its statement in which it denied its support for the “Rapid Support Forces”, describing it as “miserable”, warning that “the international community knows very well that Chad is the key transit point for weapons and mercenaries for the Janjaweed militia to use in its war against the Sudanese people”.
The Foreign Ministry statement added that “Chad resorted to blatant lies and distortion of facts,” noting that “this will not stand in the face of regional and international justice.” It added that “Chad must face the facts courageously and seek to correct its behavior that makes it a partner in the crimes of aggression, genocide and assaults committed by the RSF Militia.”
