Sovereign Council Reassures Citizens, Calls for Rejection of Rumours

The Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), chaired by its President, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, held its regular meeting on Wednesday, reviewing the overall situation in the country, particularly developments in the security and economic sectors.

At the outset of the meeting, the Council directed that urgent measures be taken to address challenges related to the provision of essential services to citizens.

The meeting also discussed ongoing preparations for the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue, aimed at reaching a comprehensive national vision to address the country’s current crisis.

The Council further reviewed violations and atrocities committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the states of Darfur and Kordofan, and the Blue Nile region.

The TSC reassured citizens of the ability of the Armed Forces and supporting forces to maintain security and stability across the country, urging the public not to be swayed by misleading rumours aimed at undermining security and stability.
