Security Plans to Impose State Prestige in Khartoum implemented
The Ministry of Interior has revealed its plans to implement security measures aimed at imposing state prestige to prevent and combat crime in Khartoum. This will be achieved through securing facilities and institutions, deploying patrols in markets and industrial areas, and establishing operations Chambers for monitoring and tracking.
Member of the Transitional Sovereign Council (TSC) and Chairman of the High Committee for Preparing the Environment for Return to Khartoum State, General Ibrahim Jabir, received a briefing from the Minister of Interior, General (Police) Babiker Samra, and the Director-General of the Police Forces, General Khalid Hassan.
After the visit, Jabir explained to the police press office that he received a comprehensive briefing on the police’s work in the country, particularly the internal security operations that will be carried out by the police and the provision of all integrated police services to citizens in Khartoum State. He called on citizens to cooperate with the police to achieve the slogan “Security is everyone’s responsibility” through community committees in neighborhoods.
For his part, the Minister of Interior affirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Interior and the police leadership to secure Khartoum State and spread reassurance among citizens through security and service plans and programs via police stations spread across all localities of the state.
