SAF Launches a New Strategy to Hunt Militia Commanders

Follow-up: Al-Tayib Abbas
The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have launched a new strategy to crush the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia rebellion, which relies on hunting down and sniping militia commanders rather than soldiers.
Over the past few days, warplanes and drones have succeeded in neutralizing a large number of militia commanders, including the rebel General Ali Suleiman Al-Fadil, in a drone strike in the city of Al-Nuhud.
Al-Fadil is a prominent commander and considered the third-ranking man in West Kordofan State.
SAF also succeeded in capturing the militia commander Amir Khawaja, a prominent figure in the Jalha group, on the Bara axis.
The army succeeded in killing the militia commander Jadallah Abu Shaar, who succumbed to his wounds following an airstrike near Babanusa.
The militia’s intelligence chief in Al-Mujlad (Maki Hereigan) was reportedly killed by his personal guard. An army drone also succeeded in capturing Adam Gaydoum, the owner of the Kordofan folk dance and Janjaweed drummer band, known as “Al-Sijn,” in the vicinity of Babanusa.
