SAF is Waging Fierce Battles and Advancing in Bahri

Vehement clashes have broken out since the early hours of Wednesday morning between the armed forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the city of Bahri, in which all light and heavy weapons were used, amidst the SAF’s advance in the southern Bahri axis.

Eyewitnesses reported that the sounds of gunfire were clearly audible, which raised citizens’ concerns.

Drastic clashes between the army and the militia had erupted in several areas on Tuesday, and SAF increased its shelling of the RSF’s sites in Khartoum, the city of Bahri, and western Omdurman.

The western Omdurman hub witnessed fierce battles, as the army carried out attacks on the militia’s sites, supported by air strikes, as warplanes were flying over the area.
