SAF crushes a militia force in an ambush… Corpses block a street in Bahri

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), from its positions in northern Omdurman, bombarded gatherings of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in central Khartoum Bahri with heavy artillery since the early hours of Saturday morning.
Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported hearing the sounds of clashes and explosions in the Shambat suburb in central Khartoum Bahri.
Meanwhile sources disclosed that SAF attempted to set up a tight ambush for a militia force that attacked Al-Hijaz Towers in Shambat area, which is controlled by the Sudanese army. However, the attacking force infiltrated to the towers. Fortunately, SAF cut off the road in front of it and besieged it inside the towers and completely eradicated it, and the militia failed to mobilize fighters and rescue the besieged force.
The sources reported the deaths of more than 100 Janjaweed elements in the ambush, adding that their corpses blocked Al-Inqaz Street, and a large number of combat vehicles were destroyed.
