Intense Airstrikes Target RSF’s Last Strongholds in North Kordofan
Field sources reported that the Sudanese Armed Forces’ air force carried out a series of intense and heavy airstrikes against positions and gatherings belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in North Kordofan State.
According to the sources, fighter aircraft targeted the militia’s remaining strongholds and pockets across strategic areas in the state, including Hamrat-Al-Sheikh, Sodri, and Al-Mazroub.
Initial indications showed that the strikes achieved direct hits, resulting in the destruction of military vehicles and ammunition depots, amid a significant decline in the RSF’s capabilities in those areas.
The coordinated air operations are part of the Armed Forces’ plan to expand field control, secure all fronts across North Kordofan State, and restore security and stability in the region.
