SAF announces its advance in southern Khartoum after taking control of Wad Madani

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced on Sunday that its forces had taken control of large areas in southern Khartoum, including Al-Rawad residential complex, which it said was occupied by a number of “snipers affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF)”, according to a SAF statement, after taking control of Wad Madani, the capital of Al-Gezira State, on Saturday.

Field sources told Al-Sharg that the SAF is working to clean up military waste from inside the city of Wad Madani.
