RSF-Operated Drones Target Industrial Area in Al-Obeid, North Kordofan

Drones operated by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia struck the industrial city in Al-Obeid, North Kordofan, on Saturday.

Sources told Darfur24 that the attacks destroyed several warehouses, shops, auto repair workshops, and spare parts stores across the industrial area.

The strikes primarily targeted the industrial zone, causing widespread damage to commercial facilities and workshops and inflicting significant losses on business owners and employees.

Authorities reported that North Kordofan’s ground defenses managed to shoot down a large number of the drones over the state.

Al-Obeid has been subjected to repeated drone attacks in recent weeks, with multiple civilian facilities targeted, including University of Kordofan, which was struck twice within a single week.

The continuing strikes underscore the mounting impact on local commerce, infrastructure, and education, raising serious concerns for both residents and authorities in the state.
