RSF Drones Rain Fire on Allied Towns After Fall of Kabum

Local sources said Rapid Support Forces (RSF) drones bombed the town of Kabum in South Darfur State on Monday, killing and wounding civilians.

The sources said the strike came after the Salamat tribe seized control of the town and inflicted heavy losses on the Beni Halba during recent clashes.

They added that a number of Beni Halba residents fled the area toward Nyala to escape attacks by Salamat fighters.

The development comes days after major setbacks suffered by Beni Halba forces amid escalating tribal violence in Darfur and growing fears of further humanitarian consequences for civilians.
