RSF Drone Attacks Target Power and Fuel Facilities in Al-Managil and ‎Haya

Drones operated by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia targeted a ‎power station and fuel storage and distribution facilities in Al-Managil, ‎Al-Gezira State, and fuel storage facilities and a fuel transport pipeline ‎leading to Bashayer Port in Red Sea State early Wednesday, causing a ‎complete power outage in Al-Managil and surrounding areas, according ‎to local sources.‎

Local sources told Sudan Tribune that drones attacked Al-Managil power ‎station early Wednesday, along with a fuel distribution station and a fuel ‎depot inside the city. The sources said the attack caused a total power ‎outage in the city and neighboring areas, adding that Civil Defense teams ‎rushed to the targeted sites and managed to extinguish the fires. No ‎information was available on casualties among workers.‎

In eastern Sudan’s Red Sea State, local sources said drones flew over the ‎city of Haya before firing missiles at fuel storage facilities and a fuel ‎transport pipeline extending to Bashayer Port, which handles oil exports.‎

Government sources have accused Ethiopia of facilitating the launch of ‎drones from its territory amid rising tensions between Khartoum and ‎Addis Ababa.‎
