Prime Minister Issues Decision to Reduce Passport Fees for Sudanese Expatriates
Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has issued a decision to reduce the fees for issuing and renewing passports for Sudanese citizens expatriates by 30%, as part of the government’s policies aimed at easing the financial burden on Sudanese abroad and encouraging voluntary return.
The decision states that the reduction will be effective from November 1 until December 31, 2025, directing the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures to implement the decision through Sudan’s diplomatic and consular missions in various countries.
The Prime Minister affirmed that this step reflects the government’s appreciation of the efforts of Sudanese abroad, aims to alleviate their hardships, and supports programs of voluntary return and national reconstruction and stability.
