Port Sudan Hosts Sudan–Türkiye Political Consultations

The city of Port Sudan hosted political consultations on Tuesday between Sudanese officials and a Turkish delegation.

Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Musa Kulaklıkaya met TSC Vice-President Malik Agar as part of his visit to Sudan.

The consultations were co-chaired by Kulaklıkaya and Sudan’s Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Muawiya Othman Khalid. The Turkish official also held talks with Foreign Minister Mohi-Eddin Salim, attended by Türkiye’s Ambassador to Khartoum Fatih Yıldız.

Speaking after the meetings, Kulaklıkaya described the consultations as “highly productive,” noting that both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and broader regional developments.
