“On the Directives of Hemedti and Shakhbout” … Financial Rewards Paid to Hamdok Alliance Through Ethiopian Bank

A source familiar with the Sudanese Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC)—which did not sign the “Sumoud” Charter—revealed an unexpected financial breakthrough within the alliance close to Abdalla Hamdok following the arrival of direct financial support from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday evening.

The source told Shahid Ayan (Eyewitness) that operational funds were transferred to the alliance and officially deposited with the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.

According to the source, the funds were disbursed pursuant to directives issued by Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo “Hemedti” and UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Shakhbout bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, following a joint meeting attended by leaders of the alliance.

The source said the funds represent financial rewards and incentives allocated to leaders and activists of the “Sumoud” alliance to alleviate a severe financial crisis they had recently faced, including housing, subsistence and transportation costs, as well as expenses for their families residing in European countries and the United States.

The source added that the incentives form part of political and media coordination involving an escalation of attacks against the Sudanese government and the Sudanese Armed Forces.
