Officially, Tagadum Announced Dead

The leadership body of the Coordination of Civil Democratic Forces (Tagadum), headed by Hamdok, officially announced the disengagement between two groups of its membership.

A group from Tagadum adopted the formation of a transitional government, while another group rejected this choice.

(Tagadum) said, in a statement obtained by (Sudanese Echoes), that it held a virtual meeting on Monday headed by the head of the body, Abdullah Hamdok, to discuss what it called the issue of legitimacy and the position on the concept of establishing a government parallel to the legitimate government in Sudan.

The meeting approved the report of the political mechanism, which concluded that there were two different positions on the issue of the government. The report concluded that the most appropriate choice is to disengage between the owners of the two positions so that each of them works under a separate political and organizational platform with two new, different names.

The statement confirmed that as of the date of this meeting, each group and party will work according to what it deems appropriate and consistent with its vision.

The statement indicated that each group will announce to the public opinion its political and organizational arrangements and the new name under which it will work separately.
