NUP suspends membership of a prominent leader after announcing his army support
The National Umma Party (NUP) decided on Tuesday to suspend the membership of the President’s Assistant for Constitutional and Legal Affairs, Ismail Kotor, referring him to and investigation after he was accused of violating the party’s constitution.
Kotor appeared in Portsudan on a meeting with Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Malik Aggar, affirming NUP support for the army in the ongoing war against the militia.
