New Police Plan to Secure Sudanese Cities

 

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, was briefed on the overall security and police situation in the country and the efforts made by the police forces to combat crime and negative phenomena.

 

 

Following his meeting with Al-Burhan, Director General of the Police Forces, General Khalid Hassan, explained that the meeting touched on the role of the police during the next phase and the importance of relocating its various units and assuming their duties from Khartoum State.

 

He revealed that a plan has been developed to secure cities in light of the current circumstances and to enhance the role of the police in maintaining security.

 

The Director General of the Police Forces stressed the continued efforts of the police forces to provide all services and transactions to the public.
