Needing two points for African qualification… Al-Hilal of Sudan is preparing to meet Mouloudia of Algeria today
Al-Hilal aspires to achieve a historic qualification and reach the quarter-finals of the African Champions League (CAF) when it hosts Mouloudia of Algeria.
The two teams will meet today, in the fourth round of Group A matches at the Sheikha Bedia Stadium in Nouakchott, Mauritania, the virtual stronghold of the Sudanese team.
The Sudanese champion plans to win against its Algerian guest, which will be enough to guarantee qualification to the quarter-finals before the end of the group stage by two rounds.
In case of winning, Al-Hilal will then have recorded the best start for a Sudanese club in the continental championships.
