Musa Hilal: I Am in Darfur and I Challenge the Rapid Support Forces

Tribal leader and head of the Revolutionary Awakening Council Musa Hilal said that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia is killing those who refuse to join their ranks.

In an interview with Al-Hadath, Hilal described the militia’s actions in Sudan as “sabotage,” accusing it of carrying out targeted killings against its opponents.

Responding to RSF threats to attack Mustariha, which he described as his main stronghold, Hilal said: “We are present in North Darfur and we challenge the Rapid Support Forces.”

He further stressed that he is working with President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan and with the Sudanese Armed Forces strictly within the framework of what he called the national cause.
