Ministry of Education: No room for error, even by 1%, in Sudanese Certificate Examination results

The Ministry of Education has announced that the General Administration of Sudanese Examinations has sent detailed lists of exam results for the postponed batch to the states so that students can access their results.

The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Ahmed Khalifa Omar, told the “Events Axis” program on Sudan TV that the results were sent to the states in Excel (sheet) formats, in addition to paper copies.

Al-Khalifa reassured students and their families that the Sudanese Certificate Examination results are subject to precise procedures characterized by accuracy, objectivity, and rigor, and that there is absolutely no room for error, even by 1%.

He pointed out that all stages and processes of the examination process are precisely defined, starting from the examination room, through the arrival of the answer sheets to the Examinations Administration, and continuing through the control and correction stages, noting that these processes are essential and have been followed for years.

He emphasized that the announced results were reviewed by an expert-level committee and by a committee at the Sudan Examinations Council, which met on Thursday morning and approved them before being announced.

He underscored that these results are final, reflecting the grades of students who obtained them with complete objectivity and transparency. More than 6,000 male and female teachers supervised the marking process, along with 2,000 teachers involved in the control and monitoring processes.

The Undersecretary reiterated that the secondary school certificate meets all accreditation and objectivity requirements and has gained a global reputation. He noted that the exams for this batch were one of the battles for dignity, and therefore the parties supporting the militia sought to obstruct their holding. When they failed to do so, they sought to spoil the joy of the students and their families. He said, “It is clear that there is a methodology and plan devised to spoil the joy of the Sudanese people and cast doubt on these results.”
