Militia Drone Strike Kills Man and Woman, Injures Civilians in Al-Dalang
The Sudan Doctors’ Network reported that a drone operated by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and Al-Hilu Movement targeted the “Fath Al-Rahman” neighborhood in Al-Dalang, South Kordofan.
The attack killed a man and a woman and left several civilians with varying degrees of injuries.
The network described the strike as a deliberate assault on residential areas and civilian facilities, in clear defiance of international calls to halt attacks on civilians.
In a statement, the network strongly condemned the intentional targeting of civilians, holding the RSF militia and Al-Hilu Movement fully responsible for the “crime.” It also denounced the continued violations against unarmed civilians and the use of suicide drones in populated areas, calling it a clear breach of international humanitarian law and fundamental principles for the protection of civilians.
