Listing Sudanese families wishing to evacuate from South Sudan

Sudan’s Embassy in South Sudan has begun listing Sudanese families wishing to evacuate following the recent violence, plundering and robbery that targeted Sudanese by extremist southerners under the pretext of revenge for the killing of southerners in Al-Gezira State who were working as mercenaries for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Militia.

Sudan’s ambassador to South Sudan, Essam Karar, revealed during his address to the Sudanese inside a temporary detention center to which they were transferred by the South Sudanese security authorities for their protection, that the gathering was carried out under the direct directives of President of the South, Salva Kiir Mayardit, to protect them and not to be exposed to them.

The ambassador pledged to transfer any Sudanese family wishing to leave the south Sudan to Sudan.

The ambassador requested the Sudanese to form a committee to list the families desiring to evacuate to arrange the means of evacuation.

Essam vowed to be close to the Sudanese to provide all their needs and resolve all the problems they face.
The ambassador described what happened as a temporary situation that will pass.
