Libya Orders Equal Treatment for Sudanese Nationals

Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya, Mohamed al-Menfi, received Sudan’s Foreign Minister Mohi-Eddin Salem at the presidential palace in Tripoli at the conclusion of his official visit.

The minister conveyed greetings from President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, expressing appreciation for Libya’s support to Sudanese nationals displaced by the war.

For his part, al-Menfi directed relevant authorities to treat Sudanese nationals on par with Libyan citizens, describing them as an integral part of the shared Arab and African social fabric.

He reaffirmed Libya’s support for Sudan’s stability, stressing that Sudan’s security is inseparable from Libya’s own.
