Large-Scale Invasion Begins… Sudanese Army Advances Towards the Final Decision

Sources have disclosed that President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah al-Burhan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, has issued directives to begin what has been described as a wide-ranging invasion against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in Kordofan and Darfur. This is the largest military operation since the outbreak of the armed conflict, with the aim of regaining full control over the cities and strategic sites controlled by the militia.

Informed military sources told Al-Hudhud News that the decision was based on a thorough field assessment prepared by the Sudanese Army’s Operations and Intelligence Authority, which confirmed the armed forces’ readiness to carry out decisive and swift operations in several vital areas, particularly in Kordofan and Darfur states.

The sources indicated large-scale field movements, including the transfer of armored units and specialized forces from training and reserve camps to the front lines, in addition to strengthening drone and electronic reconnaissance capabilities to pave the way for assaults and cut off the supply lines used by the militia in the targeted areas.

The General Command of the Armed Forces affirmed that this operation is part of the final phase of the “liberation battle,” noting that the decision is “irreversible” and part of a well-thought-out plan aimed at ending the rebellion, extending the State prestige, and restoring security throughout the country.

This development comes at a time when the fighting fronts are witnessing a rapid escalation.
