Joint Security Patrol Destroy Crime Hides in Omdurman

The Joint Security Patrol has carried out a major preventive campaign in Sabreen Market to combat negative phenomena and destroy crime dens in various jurisdictions in Karari Locality.

The campaign resulted in the seizure of (51) motorcycles in violation of Emergency Order No. (3) issued by the state wali (governor). Legal action was taken against them at the Hattana Police Station. (2) saloon vehicles, and a rickshaw without identification papers were also seized. (15) Kalashnikov rifles, (2) pistols, and (2) hornets were also seized.

The campaign also raided crime hotspots on Al-Birish Street, resulting in the arrest of (14) suspects in a state of complete intoxication. Reports were filed against them under Article (78) of the Penal Code. (3) women were arrested for promoting local liquor. Legal action was taken against them under Article (79) of the Penal Code at the police section of the Housing District 7.
